None of it is financial, legal, tax or credit advice, none of it is personalised to you, and none of it is a recommendation to apply for or avoid any product. We do not know your income, your balances, your credit history or your plans, and nothing on this site adapts to them. If you want advice about your own situation, take it from someone qualified to give it who knows your circumstances.
No lender, broker or adviser relationship
We are not a bank, a lender, a credit union, a broker, a credit repair organisation, a debt adjuster or a financial adviser. We do not take applications, we do not issue credit, and we cannot approve, decline, price or influence any application. Clicking an application link sends you to the issuer; everything that happens after that is between you and them. Using this site creates no advisory, fiduciary or agency relationship of any kind.
We also cannot help with your existing account. If you have a dispute with an issuer, the CFPB takes complaints directly at consumerfinance.gov/complaint.
Automated extraction, and how it fails
Most figures on this site were read out of PDFs by software, not typed in by a person. 4,587 filings were processed that way. The process is described in detail on the methodology page, including the specific failure modes we check for, because every one of them produced a confident wrong number at some point during development: a promotional rate reported as the ongoing rate, a margin over Prime reported as an APR, a daily periodic rate reported as an annual one, a fee tier threshold reported as the fee.
We check for those and flag what we cannot resolve. We do not claim to have caught everything. At this volume there will be errors in here that nobody has found yet, and a page that looks confident is not evidence that its figures are right.
The filed agreement is the authority
Every card page links the source document it draws on. Where this site and that document disagree, the document is correct and this site is wrong — and we would like to know, through the contact page. Filings are also point-in-time: issuers file on a quarterly cycle and change terms in between, so an agreement on file may not describe the offer you are shown today. The disclosure given to you at the point of application governs your account.

We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, their availability, their terms or their privacy practices. Once you leave this site you are covered by someone else's policies. Advertising shown on these pages is supplied by third parties and is not vetted, endorsed or selected by us.

Card names, issuer names, brand names, logos and card artwork reproduced on this site are the property of their respective owners. They are used here for identification and editorial reference only — to show which card a page is about. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from any issuer or network, and no issuer has reviewed or approved anything published here.
If you own a mark or an image used on this site and want it removed or corrected, email issuers@creditcardb.com with the page URL and the asset concerned and we will take it down or replace it. We would rather do that than argue about it. Note that the cardholder agreements themselves are public records published by the CFPB; we can remove a page or an image from this site, but the underlying filing remains public at the CFPB.
